Traffic on the I-2, heading west from Pharr to McAllen, is slow due to a caliche spill, reported the Texas Department of Transportation, Pharr district. The caliche cleaning must be completed in about 30 minutes, around 12:30 pm. At least three of the lanes westward are currently closed. This is breaking news. We will soon have more information.
