Drawings of the symbolist painter Odilon Redon, drawn directly on the walls of the library of the Abbey of Fontfroide, in the Aude, were discovered this week. They were hidden behind canvases that had been dropped before they were transferred to Paris as part of the exhibition "Gustave Fayet, collector - creator", organized at the Louis Vuitton Foundation this autumn.
Two paintings by Odilon Redon, usually exhibited at the Abbey of Fontfroide, will join Paris for an exhibition on Gustave Fayet at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, from October 9, 2026 to March 8, 2027.
