"These documents are priceless": lists of convoys of deportees from the Royallieu camp found in an attic 80 years later

After years of research, the director of the Memorial of the Internment and Deportation of Compiègne found part of the archives of the camp of Royallieu, forgotten in the attic of the local Red Cross. Among these documents, two lists of more than 4,000 names of deportees, including that of the convoy of death, left on 2 July 1944 for Dachau. (First publication 13/07/2024).
