His name was Gianluca Di Gioia and he celebrated his 48th birthday on December 21. He loved the sun and the sea, so he decided to celebrate Christmas with his family in Egypt. The waters of the Marsa Alam resort proved fatal for him. A few days after his birthday, he was attacked by a shark and died after bleeding profusely from wounds on his arms and legs.
