- As part of the trip, the U-23 USWNT will also travel to Brazil to play against local professional clubs in what U.S. Soccer called a "unique occurrence" for the program.
- Despite these preparations, the Americans must still qualify for the 2027 World Cup, facing a win-and-in quarterfinal against El Salvador on November 27 in the Concacaf W Championship.
