The United States on Tuesday canceled its participation in the fourth UN conference on financing for development, which will be held in Seville, Spain, from June 29 to July 3. Washington cited several reasons for this decision, but the United States is most concerned about the proposed adjustments to the international financial system and the promotion of gender equality, reports the French news agency AFP.
