Benito Juárez.- The Attorney General's Office of the State of Quintana Roo, through the Special Prosecutor's Office for Combating the Offences of Kidnapping and Extortion, carried out an arrest warrant against a male, for his possible relationship in acts likely to constitute the crime of extortion, in the injury of a victim of reserved identity, in collaboration with the Attorney General's Office of the State of Nayarit.

A person nicknamed ‘Texano’ was located and detained by law enforcement forces in Nayarit, and transferred to Quintana Roo, due to charges of extortion in the name of several businesses located in four municipalities of the Entity. This occurred after an arrest warrant was turned against the person who was identified as José Gerardo ‘N’, and who, after investigations, managed to reach out to him and bring him to the State to face justice.
