The aimara or wolf fish is not just any fish. Its ferocious nature with a jaw profile armed with sharp, strong and jagged teeth makes it able to easily crush lures. Throughout the journey of more than 180 kilometers down the Suriname River in French Guiana using a wind kayak, Zahrin and his friends focused on the expedition's main target, which was the aimara fish (Hoplias aimara), a freshwater predator species known as the wolf fish.
