The Supreme Court of Spain rejected Wednesday's allegations of negligence against Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and several members of his government in connection with the floods of October 2024 that caused the death of 228 people in the Valencia region. The Court found that there was no evidence to support a criminal responsibility and stressed that discretionary administrative decisions cannot constitute offences, reports Politico.
