A crack has been found in the bridge structure of the Algyő railway bridge. Tram-trains and trains can only travel at 60 kilometers per hour on the section.
Traffic on the Tisza Bridge in Algyő has been slowed down due to a structural fault. According to MÁV, the timetable will not be affected for the time being, and the cause of the fault and how to fix it are still being investigated.
The restriction also affects the Szeged–Hódmezővásárhely tram-train and the trains running between Szeged and Békéscsaba.
There has already been a speed limit at the Algyő crossing due to the tram-train.
