AfD leader Tino Chrupalla called the statement by the head of the National Security Bureau, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, about the blowing up of the Nord Stream gas pipeline "interference in the vital interests" of Germany.
"If Germany is pursuing someone who destroyed the source of income for the Russian war machine, then the conflict of interests between Poland and Germany is clearly visible."
The National Security Bureau (BBN) maintains that it is in Poland's vital interest that the alleged perpetrators of the damage to the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines not be held accountable. The BBN published this position on Wednesday on Platform X, responding to a statement by the spokesman for the German AfD party.
