Bolivia won eleven medals (two gold) during the Great South American Prix “Mario Paz”, which took place this Saturday on the track of athletics in Cochabamba. Brazil was the winner of the tournament with six preseas, four of them gold. Gold medals for Bolivia were won by fondistas Lilian Tórrez and David Ninavia, both in the test of the 1,500 flat meters, reported the Athletic Federation of Bolivia (FAB), by means of a press release.
With the presence of more than 120 athletes (50 foreigners and 70 nationals) this weekend will be held the Great South American Prix of Athletics “Mario Paz” (Saturday 12 July) and “Julia Iriarte” (Sunday 13 July), on the athletic track of the Municipal Autonomous Government of Cochabamba, from 9:00. There will be the presence of athletes from Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and hosts Bolivia.
