Almost half of the contracts signed in Extremadura during 2025 lasted less than a month. It is the slab that continues to drag the regional labour market despite the reduction in temporality following the labour reform of 2021. According to UGT Extremadura, 45% of the recruitment recorded last year had a duration of less than 30 days, a percentage much higher than that of the country as a whole, at 38.4%.
