Six bathing areas on the Bay of Gdańsk were closed on Saturday due to the detection of tar-like residues of fuel oil. The Sanitary Inspectorate (Sanepid) made this decision after testing water samples. A second test is scheduled for Sunday, according to a press release. Meanwhile, a swimming area on Lake Skrzynki Duże in the Pomeranian Voivodeship was closed due to a cyanobacterial bloom.

The weather has left the beach in Stegna deserted, while workers in Jantar are clearing sand. Internet users are watching, some of whom are still waiting for better conditions to visit the Polish seaside.
