[HAEBARU/NAHA] The Haebaru Town Ryukyu Kasuri Business Cooperative Association (Chairman Oshiro Takao) donated a loom to Prefectural Mabashi High School on the 21st. The school is considering establishing an elective subject to study traditional Okinawan clothing in the 2027 academic year. The association, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in February, donated the loom it had been using in order to encourage interest in Ryukyu Kasuri weavers.
