Queen Sonja stands alone in front of her husband's coffin – the royal house shares moving farewell pictures and touching words.
Shortly before the funeral of King Harald V. (†89), the Norwegian palace published new moving photographs. On the pictures, Queen Sonja (89) can be seen on the coffin of her deceased husband. On the day of his death, the coffin of King Harald was transferred from the Rikshospitalet to the palace and then brought to the castle chapel in a procession from the Red Salon. There, he remains standing until the funeral on 9 September.
On Tuesday, the Royal House shared a final greeting to King Harald on Instagram:
"Thank you for a good life," says a new post shared by the Norwegian Royal Family.
