The 44th Oita International Marathon wheelchair race was held on the 16th from the Oita Prefectural Government Office to the J-Lease Stadium course. Hirokazu Ueyonahara (54) won the men's T33/52 class in 1 hour 50 minutes 5 seconds, marking his fifth victory in two years. Tsubasa Nakamine (35) came in third in the women's T34/53/54 class with a time of 1 hour 46 minutes 24 seconds.
