Iceland's handball team pulled off a big surprise in the second round of Group II of the European Championship, which also includes Slovenia. They defeated host Sweden 35:27 in Malmö, complicating the standings. Before the match between Croatia and Switzerland, they came in first place thanks to goal difference, and have four points, just like Sweden and Slovenia.
