The authorities of Chisinau are planning to introduce a visa regime for citizens of the Member States of the Community of Independent States (CSI). The decision comes into force in the context where the agreement to cancel these visas will be annulled, according to Agerpres, who reads Openside.md.
The decision comes in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began in 2022, after the authorities from Chisinau repeatedly expressed their intention to withdraw from the organisation.
