The vote of confidence in the government of Andrej Babiš (ANO) by the Chamber of Deputies could take place on January 13, according to the coalition council of ANO, SPD and Motorists, said the head of the lower house, Tomio Okamura (SPD). According to him, the actual appointment of the government should take place a few days after President Petr Pavel appoints Babiš as Prime Minister. This is due to happen on Tuesday, December 9.
Tomio Okamura was elected Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies by the votes of coalition deputies. And he immediately took office. He had the Ukrainian flag removed from the main building and took only deputies from the future government coalition on his first foreign trip to Slovakia.
