The video platform YouTube is now 20 years old. Only 19 seconds was the first video - blurred, shaky and with tinned sound. It was recorded by Youtube founder Jawed Karim, in the zoo of San Diego. Today the company makes billions of sales.
Twenty years ago, Jawed Karim filmed and commented at the San Diego Elephant Zoo. "Me at the zoo" is the first YouTube video to be viewed 348 million times. Rattana Schicketanz, head of Video WORLD TV, congratulates the platform for its 20th birthday.
