The plane crash was caused by a miscalculation. The Bristol Blenheim was the only airworthy aircraft.

Summary by iDNES.cz
It was the only airworthy example of this type of aircraft in the world. An accident during landing at Duxford Airport, England, in August 2003 left the Bristol Blenheim Mk. IV light bomber badly damaged, although both pilots were able to evacuate the aircraft. Like the aircraft itself, the cause of the accident is also interesting.
