Both activists came from families with a long tradition of social and political struggle.
Sandra Rosa Camacho Flores was murdered on March 26 in the municipality of Temoac, after having publicly stated that she feared for her safety. Hours before the attack, the activist had shared a message thanking her for a new day. Weekend leaves at least 13 murders in Morelos
