In the Pallars Jussà ten years ago there were two professional oil producers and now there are twelve. This increase is due, to a large extent, to the modernization of oil mills. One case is that of the valley of Barcedana that about four years ago was remodeled with state-of-the-art technology and represented an economic revulsive for the area.
