The secretary general of the National Intelligence Center (CNI), Luis García Terán, explained in the Congress that he contacted imam Abdelbaki Es Satty, brain of the jihadist attacks carried out in Catalonia in 2017, but did not become a source because "never" reported anything reliable or interesting and therefore did not collaborate much less collect from the center.
