Prague - The new CEO of Czech Television (ČT), Hynek Chudárek, has ordered the preparation of an in-depth review of contractual relations, management and some of ČT's activities. The aim is to strive for efficient and transparent functioning, but also to respond to certain doubts about the correctness of some of the television's procedures that have emerged in the public sphere. ČT announced this in a press release today.
Czech Television intends to evaluate the current business model, according to which commercial platforms can obtain its content for free and then charge for it. Contracts with operators were concluded on behalf of ČT by the then head of business, Hynek Chudárek, who became CEO in June.
