The National Energy Commission already has its internal rules of procedure

On May 8, 2025, the Internal Regulations of the National Energy Commission (CNE) were published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF), which establishes that the CNE is a decentralized body of the Ministry of Energy (SENER), charged with regulating, supervising and imposing sanctions in the energy sector.
