The musician Salvador Escribà has died at the age of 75 as a result of a stroke. Born in Bell-lloc d’Urgell, he was one of the most popular figures at the major festivals from the mid-seventies onwards following the foundation of Salseta del Poble Sec, an orchestra formed together with Pep Vercher in 1977 that left its mark on generations.
