Bankruptcies | The number of bankruptcies rose to a quarter-century high

Compared to January last year, the number increased by 83.

In January 2025, 381 bankruptcies were initiated, which is 83 more than a year earlier. The last time there were this many bankruptcies on a monthly basis was in October 1997.
