On Thursday evening, a weather alert forced the organization of the Montreux Jazz Festival to temporarily evacuate the outdoor spaces. Faced with the arrival of a stormy cell accompanied by lightning and gusts, the festivalgoers were invited to shelter themselves inside around 8 pm. Stands and several outdoor scenes stopped their activities during the time of the alert which was lifted around 9:40 pm.
