After several years of strong opinions for and against, the decision has finally been made. There will be no gondola in Sula.
Plans for a gondola lift from the center of Langevåg to Sulafjellet in Sunnmøre have been rejected by the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development.
The Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development does not approve plans for a gondola from the center of Langevåg to Sulafjellet. The reason is that the project conflicts too much with important nature, landscape and outdoor life interests.
After several years of strong opinions for and against, the decision has finally been made. There will be no gondola in Sula.
