The Lessons of La Mejorna

SAN LUIS, Santiago de Cuba.— With a meeting of generations, in the shadow of the tamarind standing on the site occupied by the administrator of the former Ingenuity La Mejorana, in the vicinity of Dos Caminos de San Luis, was commemorated the 130th anniversary of the historic meeting, in which for the only time the three great leaders of the Necessary War coincided: José Martí, Máximo Gómez and Antonio Maceo.
