The legend lives on: ‘Tiny Tin Man’ makes triumphant return to Oregon

Summary by Oregon Observer
Guess who’s back in town? It all started with the project to restore the village’s iconic downtown “Tin Man” water tower, first constructed of wood in 1898 and then replaced with a metal structure. In 2017, after several prior attempts, it was stripped, repainted and restored with lights that can be seen from highway 14 and other entrances into the village at night.
