Bill 3, to save the Gaspé counties, was assigned in a regular process for adoption by June 12. Despite calls on Wednesday to collaborate in the process, St. Jérôme's Member of Parliament, Youri Chassin, has not changed his mind and still opposes it. To reach adoption, the bill still has to go through various stages, such as the detailed study of articles in parliamentary committees where Members can debate and propose amendments.
