After SSH submitted a request on Friday to convene a Petrol general meeting and appoint a special auditor, Vesna and Dari Južna responded.
Indirectly, one of Petrol's major shareholders, Dari, and Vesna Južna, the latter also the chairwoman of the company's supervisory board, deny the alleged interference in the company's operations and pressure on its responsible persons. "Dari Južna never gave anyone any instructions, not even instructions regarding fuel supply, logistics or pricing policy," they wrote.
Spouses Dari and Vesna Južna strongly reject suggestions that, given the tense geopolitical situation and rising oil prices, they are affecting the operations of Petrol, causing fuel shortages at the pumps.
