The body submits for consultation a proposal that it plans to approve in March and that tightens the rules so that trans women and those with XY chromosomes and "differences in sexual development", like Caster Semenya, can run in the female categories
The international athletics federation is studying, in the midst of an antitrans wave, a genetic test to compete in the female category.
Only women whose biological sex is female and those of male biological sex (with XY chromosomes) but completely insensitive to the androgenic effects of testosterone (this is with female phenotype and although there is a presence of male gonads) will be able to participate in the elite competitions of world athletics in female category if the federation succeeds in approving, as planned, a new norm next March.
