At least 17 people were arrested in a police eviction operation against Mapuche communities who had been stationed for several days in the Government House of Neuquén province to demand their right to the surrender of legal persons, i.e. a community identity card, as explained in videos by one of the demonstrators.

The police beat those who were carrying out the protest. 21 people were arrested, including two minors who ended up with fractures. The Mapuche Confederation holds Figueroa and the oil companies responsible, while the government speaks of "illegal occupation." The communities of the Mapuche Confederation of Neuquén denounced a "feroz repression" by the police forces and held Governor Rolando Figueroa and the "oil mafia" responsible.
