The EH Bildu of Zaldibar has given its full support to former mayor Arantza Baigorri, who has been charged with corruption. According to the coalition, EH Bildu voted against the allegations of expanding the landfill when Baigorri was mayor. It added that the PSE and the EAJ have promoted the landfill, and that it is "unbelievable" that Baigorri is being charged and not former EAJ deputy mayor Juan Mari Uriarte.
