The Festivals of Moors and Christians of Calp have already been recognized nationally. The Ministry of Industry and Tourism, through the Secretariat of State for Tourism, has declared this Wednesday the celebration as a Festival of National Tourist Interest, valuing its uniqueness and historical, cultural and festive importance. It is the twenty-sixth declaration of this kind in the Valencian Community and the number 168 of Spain.
