Germany's SailGP sailors celebrate the greatest success of their team history. Team Germany maintained nerves and an overview of the fresh water premiere of the racing series on Lake Geneva.
By beating the Australians and the Swiss in the final this Sunday on Lake Geneva, the Germans won the first SailGP in their history. Seventh, the Blues almost said goodbye to their chances of being among the three teams that will compete for the title in the United Arab Emirates at the end of November.
After yesterday's celebration of the lake, the second day of the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix was tougher and the program was reduced due to lack of wind.
