The French Football Federation announced on Friday evening that it had heard from the new manager of the compound for the return of the national selection in Saint-Denis. But Didier Deschamps' team is not sure whether it will evolve in 2026.
An agreement in principle was reached by the French Football Federation with the group GL Events, the new dealer of the Stade de France.
The FFF and GL Events are preparing to sign an agreement which will see the French team evolve at the Stade de France over the next 30 years. However, the date of the return is not yet known due to concerts in June 2026 and the renovation of the enclosure at the beginning of the year.

The president of the Fédération française de football (FFF), Philippe Diallo, announced Friday, 21 November that the federation had reached an agreement in principle with GL Events, a dealer at the Stade de France since August, so that the Bleus would return to their premises in Saint-Denis from 2026.
From 2026 the national team will play its home games again in Saint-Denis. The association will agree with the new operator GL Events.
