Svoboda has filed a motion to annul the decision to call a referendum on defense spending, as the referendum question is unclear and misleading, Prime Minister Robert Golob explained after a meeting with the presidents of parliamentary parties. The initiative for a referendum on Slovenia's NATO membership has thus become "most likely unnecessary," he said.
