With 99 votes, of the 103 that had the right to participate in the election of the secretary general of the Confederation of Workers of Mexico (CTM), Tereso Medina Ramírez became the new leader of the central workers for the period 2026-2032, with the commitment not only to incorporate more women and creating new portfolios, but also to ensure “that the new face of the CTM will be a proposal, not a protest”, saying goodbye to corporativism.
