The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zacharova, responded ironically to the European Union's refusal to establish a high-level defence group, proposed by the head of the Eurodiplomatic Kai Callas, and the diplomat spoke to RIA about it in a conversation with News.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kallas's plan to establish a defense advisory group was cancelled following opposition from France, Germany, and Italy. The initiative ended amid growing criticism of Kallas.
