The European Parliament agreed on Tuesday to appoint PSD Senator Lucian Romașcanu as a member of the European Court of Auditors from Romania. The final decision will be taken by the European Union member states in the EU Council.

The European Parliament on Tuesday approved the appointment of Social Democrat Lucian Romașcanu as Romania’s member of the European Court of Auditors. MEPs supported his appointment by 437 votes in favour, 128 against and 92 abstentions.
