On Wednesday, the EC took Poland to the European Court of Justice over air quality and drinking water. It concerns barriers to access to justice and the inability to file complaints in national courts about exceeding pollution standards.
The Court of Justice of the EU ruled on Thursday that the ban on advertising pharmacies, pharmacy points and their activities in Poland is contrary to EU law. The European Commission filed a complaint against Poland in this case in 2024.

The European Commission referred Poland to the EU Court of Justice on Wednesday, accusing Warsaw of preventing lawsuits over illegal air pollution and of missing a deadline to adopt tougher drinking water standards.
