Codemasters ‘Pausing’ Development Plans on Future Rally Games

Electronic Arts announced in early 2025 that it is pausing development of future World Rally Championship games by Codemasters, based in the UK.
This pause follows the launch of EA Sports WRC in late 2023 and a recent round of layoffs affecting up to 400 employees across EA's studios.
