The Doctors Company Announces $15.1 Million Dividend

On March 27, 2025, The Doctors Company, the nation's largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer, announced the approval of a 2025 premium dividend of approximately $15.1 million for eligible members.
As a member-owned company, The Doctors Company states it is dedicated to rewarding its members, as well as advancing, protecting, and rewarding the practice of good medicine.

According to Richard E. Anderson, MD, FACP, Chairman and CEO of The Doctors Company and TDC Group, the company is "pleased to reward members once again with earned dividends," which he identifies as an important part of their mission to advance, protect, and reward the practice of good medicine.
The approved dividend will be applied to policy renewals between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, contributing to a total of $485 million in declared dividends to date, while the company also provides the Tribute Plan, which has awarded over $175 million to retiring doctors.
