The Warsaw District Court has legally dismissed the so-called Polish aspect of the case of former Minister of Transport Sławomir Nowak.
The District Court in Warsaw today upheld the dismissal of the so-called Polish case against former Transport Minister Sławomir Nowak. The court dismissed the prosecutor's appeal in this case. In 2021, the prosecutor's office charged the former minister with more than a dozen crimes. In Poland, Nowak was accused, among other things, of accepting bribes to help him obtain positions in state-owned companies.
A Warsaw court has legally dismissed the so-called Polish case against former Transport Minister Sławomir Nowak. The court dismissed the prosecutor's appeal in this case, alleging assistance in obtaining positions and contracts in state-owned companies and PLN 760,000 for organizing a meeting between representatives of a development company and Gdańsk authorities.
