The writer and playwright Loay Zahra died today, Tuesday, after a struggle with disease. His brother-in-law, poet Nabil Al-Jabri, wrote on his Facebook account, "I mourn you to see Zahra... the survival of God."

The theatrical director Adel al-Qashari died, leaving behind a rich artistic legacy, and his family announced that it would later determine the date and place of the funeral.
